Molecular & Ionic Bonding Quiz: This quiz on Monday Feb. 29th will include both the naming and writing of ionic and molecular compound formula, as you have been practicing over the past two weeks. This is a 15 minute quiz and you will be provided with a periodic table.
Molecular Bonding Quiz: Wednesday Feb. 24th-this will be a short quiz that requires you to name a molecular compound given a chemical formula as well as write the chemical formula when given the name of a molecular compound.
Ionic Bonding Quiz: 2 Questions Friday Feb. 19th- I will give you two elements to Ionically bond, go through the steps to determine if it is possible (it is a metal and non-metal), draw their Lewis dot diagrams, move electrons to fill or empty electron shells, determine ionic charges, write the chemical formula and name the compound.
